About Realm

Realm is an AI tool that uses company knowledge to automate RFP responses, customer-facing materials, and other high-stakes work that revenue teams do between customer meetings.

We’re convinced that revenue work is about to be revolutionized in the same way that engineering already has. Developers now manage fleets of agents, often running five to ten tasks in parallel terminal windows. The best revenue teams have started to follow suit.

However, before we get there, there is a context gap that needs to be solved. Unlike in engineering, where codebases provide structured context for AI, revenue teams work with fragmented systems and unstructured data. This sprawling knowledge needs to collected, prioritized, and organized in order for agents to understand a company’s go-to-market and be capable of high-quality execution.

This is what we’re working on at Realm. It’s a hard problem that’s led us to the cutting edge of information retrieval and agentic orchestration.

Our customers include some of the leading B2B software companies in Europe and beyond, including Visma, Aiven, Hostaway, AB Tasty, LanguageWire, and Phrase.

Role

We are looking for AI engineer to work on improving the accuracy, versatility, speed, and measurability of our core search and RAG systems.

You could be who we’re looking for if

• You are what we call a friendly ambitious nerd – someone who combines voracious curiosity, a restless drive to build something important, and genuine compassion for other people.
• You have experience working with LLMs, different models, APIs, prompting techniques RAG pipelines, agentic architectures, etc. and you have a deep understanding of model capabilities and limitations.
• You approach problems with an analytical mindset, you know how to design and conduct experiments and you’re able to effectively evaluate outcomes using realm-world data.
• You have strong backend engineering skills, you have the ability to implement and optimize features end-to-end.
• You’ll blossom in a hectic early-stage environment where data is limited, goals can be ambiguous, and you need to be a self-starter.
• You communicate nuanced ideas clearly, whether you're explaining technical decisions in writing or brainstorming on the fly.

What would impress us even more?

• You have taken products from 0 to 1 before. Perhaps you’ve been an early employee at another startup like so many of our team – or built successful side projects.
• You have a strong background in Math.
